Description
This is the fourth in a series of sketches of an idea for a street art festival. The subject is the Mexican santeria god called "Santa Muerte" or "Santisima Muerte" or "Doña Sebastiana." She is most commonly payed tribute with offerings of money, cigars, & tequila. People also leave pictures of loved ones that have passed away and pray for their protection. La Doña wears 4 different color robes depending on what you want her to bring you. White for luck, red for love, green for money & black for protection. She is often given the same respect as all of the other saints that Catholics honor, but she is not really recognized as a real saint by the Catholic church & is instead viewed as witchcraft or "santeria."

this is great! but i'd like to point out that Santeria is not Mexican magic.
that would be Brujeria or Espiritismo
Hail Santa Muerte!
